1. Spell Bound (Hex Hall #3)

Hex Hall was really good and Demonglass was awesome. If this trend continues, Spell Bound is going to be epic!

Ever since the thrilling and chaotic cliffhanger Demonglass left off with, I've been dying to read this third book, and I still have half a year to go until March 2012, and Spell Bound's release!

2. Chain Reaction (Perfect Chemistry #3)

Perfect Chemistry is one of my favorite books of all time, and Chain Reaction isn't too far behind. Still, I haven't had the chance to read the third, and final(?) installment in the series!

3. Strange Fate (Night World #10)

The release date for this book has been pushed back several times, and last time I checked the expected publication date was February 2014 (!)

What do you think, will the people who read this series when it first was published back in the 90s still be waiting by then? I really like this series, and I hope this 10th book will get published!

4. City of Fallen Angels (The Mortal Instruments #4)

Read and loved the previous three books, still haven't read this one. Why?

5. If I Die (Soul Screamers #5)

This series is great, plus I'd like to have some more Tod in my life!

6. Bloodlines (Vampire Academy Spin-off)

Okay, not exactly a sequel, but the first book in the Vampire Academy spin-off series!

7. Silence (Hush Hush #3)

Nora and Patch have been through so much together, and in Silence their fate will be decided, once and for all.

8. Dreamless (Starcrossed #2)

Sequel to Starcrossed, the fabulous 2011 debut

9. Goddess Interrupted (The Goddess Test #2)

Sequel to The Goddess Test, the fabulous 2011 debut.

10. Out of Sight Out of Time (Gallagher Girls #5)

This series is one of my guilty-pleasures, and the last book (Only The Good Spy Young) was by far the best book yet! Plus, cliffhanger.

This is the first time in my Top Ten Tuesday history that I actually managed to do a top ten!Very proud of myself :)

And how strange is it that most of these jerks also are my favorite characters in their respective books? Don't know what that says about my taste in boys...

People don't recommend books to me very often, I'm mostly the one doing the recommening since I'm the biggest reader among my friends and family! There have been a few occasion when people recommended great books to me though, and this list lists the most successful ones!

1. The Princess Diaries - Meg Cabot
I would like to think my classmates who recommended this series to me almost 10 years ago. Maybe I wouldn't have discovered Cabot's great writing otherwise!

2. Mortal Instruments Trilogy - Cassandra Clare
Thanks to all book bloggers out there who convinced me to try this series!

3. Tomorrow Series - John Marsden
I believe someone recommended this series to me, can't remember who though! It is awesome anyhow!

4. Hex Hall - Rachel Hawkins
I asked my blog readers to recommend a book to buy - and this was the book most people voted for. Thank you!

5. Hunger Games Trilogy - Suzanne Collins

One of the many books my librarian has recommended to me during the last years. This is one of the few I liked!

- What a witch!

2. A - Pretty Little Liars

Truth be told, I haven't read these books. But I have seen the TV Show, and A definitely deserves to be mentioned on this list!

3. Alice - Prophecy of the Sisters

This evil twin really gave me the chills

4. Trista - Populazzi

Trista uses everyone to get what she wants. She has a well developed plan, and outsmarts everyone. Mean and smart!

5. Dolores Umbridge - Harry Potter

I really can't stand this toad!

6. Karen Sue Hanky - 1-800-Where-R-U? series

Karen Sue is such a pain in the a**! She's a Miss Goody Two-Shoes who never misses an opportunity to rat Jess out. Her behaviour really makes you want to punch her (which Jess thankfully does!)

7. Blair Waldorf - Gossip Girl

I don't think anyone has missed this Mean Girl!

Top Ten Tuesday: Bookish Pet Peeves

Today's subject: "Top Ten Tuesday Rewind - Pick a past TTT that you didn't get a chance to participate in"

Since this is just my second week doing this meme, there were lots of past Top Ten Tuesday's to choose from! My choice:

"Top Ten Bookish Pet Peeves"

1. Blurbs who spoils the entire book

If the mysterious new guy is a paranormal creature, let that be a secret! If the back cover reveals that he is a fallen angel out to kill you - why would I want to read 300 pages waiting for the main character to figure that out?

2. When the cover design/book size changes halfway-through a series.

Does anyone care how bad this will look on my bookshelf?

3. Weird character names

Take the Hunger Games books for example: Katniss? Primrose? Peeta? Almost made me throw away the book! (and hello Reneesme - don't think I have forgotten about you! (even if I wish I had))

4. Cheesy epilogues

Seriously - they make me cringe! Take Perfect Chemistry for example - great book until the epilogue *shudders*

5. Series which goes on forever...and ever.. and ever.

And you can tell that the author has run out of ideas - either by re-using a plot idea, or creating a too unbelievable plot (like suddenly throwing in a bunch of Japanese kitsune (fox spirits - Wtf?) when the book originally is about vampires)

6. Too much detail/excessive description

Yada, yada, yada

7. Books with so many characters that a list of them all has to be included in the back of the book. (This also includes dictonaries of foreign words/made-up words)

One word - confusing

8. Books marketed as the "New Twilight"

When the only thing they have in common is romance...

9. Brands, brands, brands.

I don't care wether the main character wears huge black Prada sunglasses, a cute Pucci sundress and gorgeous Gucci heals. Tell me something that's important to the plot instead!

10. Slooooow books

Too slow beginnings might make me put the book aside in favor for another one. I also hate when books have great fast-paced beginnings, then a huge slow section in the middle where nothing happens..

I've been thinking about joining this meme for a few weeks now, because I really enjoy reading other people's Top Tens! This is my first attempt to make my own list.

Today's subject is "Top Ten Books You Want To See Made Into Movies", and here are my choices:

1. The Boys Next Door - Jennifer Echols

Summer, water sport, hot boys... This book is so cute, and would make a perfect romantic comedy!

2. Perfect Chemistry - Simone Elkeles

Good, rich girl falls in love with Mexican bad boy and gang member - this could be the new A Walk To Remember/Grease/10 Things I Hate About You/Dirty Dancing... well, you get my point - a great movie!

3. Hex Hall series - Rachel Hawkins

Boarding school, witches, werewolves and a kick-ass hilarious main character - I would definitely watch this movie!

4. Vampire Academy series - Richelle Mead

This series would make a fantastic movie - or better yet a TV series. Watch out, Buffy!

5. Hush Hush - Becca Fitzpatrick

Thrilling, scary and hot - a perfect movie to bring your boyfriend to!

6. Can You Keep a Secret? - Sophie Kinsella

Would be hilarious! I like this book much better than the Shopaholic books (which were turned into a movie)

7. Gallagher Girls series - Ally Carter

Seriously, boarding school* girls who are secretly training to be spies? How awesome is that concept?
