Book Review: Shadow Kiss
Title: Shadow Kiss
Series: Vampire Academy (Book 3)
Author: Richelle Mead
Published: December 2008
About the Book: Is Rose's fate to kill the person she loves most? It's springtime at St. Vladimir's Academy, and Rose Hathaway is this close to graduation. Since Mason's death, Rose hasn't been feeling quite right. She has dark flashbacks in the middle of practice, can't concentrate in class, and has terrifying dreams about Lissa. But Rose has an even bigger secret .... She's in love with Dimitri. And this time, it's way more than a crush. Then Strigoi target the academy in the deadliest attack in Moroi history, and Dimitri is taken. Rose must protect Lissa at all costs, but keeping her best friend safe could mean losing Dimitri forever...

My Thoughts: Yet another awesome book in the Vampire Academy series.
In this book we see a different side of Rose, she used to be this confident, outspoken and fearless girl, but the things she had to go through in Frostbite changed here. Now she's insecure, both about her abilities and about her future. Does she really want to be a guardian?
Rose also starts seeing ghosts, and debilitating dark emotions are overwhelming her when she least needs it. She's almost certain she's losing it.
And then, when no one expects it, the largest group of Strigois ever is attacking the school. Who will survive and just how much damage will the Strigois do?
The ending of this book left me heartbroken and crying. It was so sad - but still I can't wait to read Blood Promise, the fourth installment in the Vampire Academy series. As long as you live, there's hope, right?

Never read any books of this serie, but it does sound very interesting to read. I like vampirestories. :)
I just want to say that I think the ending of this book is soooooo bogus. Why him!? Why did he have to be them!? I feel so hurt and betrayed as a reader. However, I keep reading.....there might be a silver lining....there has to be...right?
