In Cover Combat I compare US covers with the Swedish covers of the same books, to see which covers I like the most!
This week the covers of the 1-800-Where-R-U? series by Meg Cabot are being judged.

I can't say that I love neither the US nor the Swedish covers - none of them does the series justice. This is one of my favorite series, so if you thinking about picking it up - don't judge the books by their cover! ;)
Do you prefer the US or the Swedish covers?

I actually don't really like either of the covers, either. Oddly enough, I haven't read this series BECAUSE of the covers, and I adore Meg Cabot. Guess I'll have to get over the covers and give it a chance.
If I have to choose then I'll say the US versions but I really don't like either of them.
The series is all new to me. I have to look it up on goodreads I think.

Wow, both sets of covers are so...meh. I really wish the US covers would've gone with an eerie style similar to the ones used back when Meg Cabot wrote the series under the name Jenny Carroll.
Yup. Same here. I have to agree with you all. I don't like either covers. I have never heard of this series before. I will have to look it up!
